PROJECT COORDINATOR

Do you love details, organization, and keeping projects on track — while also having an eye for design
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage the flow of information, selections, and communication for custom homes and renovations, ensuring our projects run smoothly.

ABOUT YOU

You’re detail-oriented and love bringing order to complex projects. You’re comfortable guiding clients through choices and helping them feel confident. You balance creativity with organization — spotting design opportunities while keeping paperwork and deadlines on track.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same. You communicate clearly and professionally, whether with clients, trades, or teammates. Most of all, you take pride in being part of a team that delivers well-built, well-designed homes that are Built for Life.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a client-facing role that blends interior design sensibility with strong administrative and coordination skills. You’ll support clients with product selections and pricing, prepare and manage project documents, track materials, and coordinate schedules with production.

Your mission: keep projects organized, clients informed, and the path from sales handoff to project completion running smoothly.

ABOUT US

For over 15 years, we’ve been building and renovating homes in Prince George with one clear purpose: to deliver quality that is truly Built for Life. What started as a small construction company run out of a spare room, we have grown into a vertically integrated group of businesses that now includes custom home building, major renovations, kitchen and bath design, flooring and tile retail, countertops, and more.

Today, we operate with over 14,000 sq. ft. of showroom, fabrication, warehouse, and office space, and we’re building an amazing team to keep it all running smoothly. Our focus has always been on delivering well-built and well-designed homes that have earned recognition and awards in our community. We pride ourselves on honesty, integrity, and providing clients with a true turn-key solution — from concept and design through to completion.

As we continue to evolve, we’re putting together a team that will allow us to build on our strong foundation and truly become the most trusted and respected builder and renovator in Northern BC — delivering best-in-class homes and renovations with a well-designed and predictable customer journey.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Guide clients through product selections (finishes, fixtures, materials) and ensure decisions are clearly documented.

  • Support pricing by gathering supplier quotes and maintaining accurate product cost information.

  • Prepare and manage project documentation — selections sheets, scopes of work, change orders, and permits.

  • Act as the primary client contact once the project is sold, providing updates, setting expectations, and ensuring a positive experience.

  • Coordinate with the production team to align schedules, materials, and site readiness.

  • Manage materials ordering and tracking, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.

  • Maintain and enforce the use of project checklists, quality control lists, and punchlists through to project completion.

  • Assist in the showroom as needed, supporting clients in making design and product choices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience in design and construction administration).

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction, renovations, or design coordination.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

  • Strong communication and client-service skills — you keep people informed and on track.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and familiarity with project management or construction software (JobTread experience an asset).

  • Knowledge of residential construction processes and materials.

WHY JOIN US?

  •  Work on a diverse range of projects — from custom homes to major renovations.

  • Be part of the entire journey: from design vision to the final celebration with the client.

  • A collaborative culture built on teamwork, professionalism, and pride in quality work.

  • Opportunity to shape the future of a growing, award-winning design-build company.

  • Access to 14,000 sq. ft. of showrooms, design studio, fabrication, and office space, giving you the tools and environment to succeed.

  •  Compensation: $26-34 hourly depending on experience and skills match.

  • Health and dental benefits funded by the employer
